Why does God let evil people triumph over good people? Sometimes I wonder this when I look at my life. Why does someone who cheats get the promotion? Sometimes its on more of a global perspective, like the situation in Tibet.

I often read Psalm 13 and relate all to well to David when he asks, "How long will my enemy triumph over me?"

Yesterday four High School teenagers, from Wake Forest-Rolesville High School (the school I graduated from way back in 1988), were in a terrible car accident.
http://wral.com/news/local/story/9687375/
Three of the teenagers died at the site. The fourth teen is in critical condition. One of the teenagers that died was to graduate this Friday.
The teens were all on their way home from a church youth group time. Speed was the factor in the accident.
I tend to wonder, when I hear these stories, where was God? Why would good people have to suffer so much? It does not seem fair. That's some of the questions I ask of God.

I was at Carowinds with my youth group back in highschool. I had started dating a girl and she wanted me to ride some rides with her. I told her I get motion sick easily, but she talked me into riding the ship that goes in circles (the frenzoid) with her. About half way through the ride I puked all over her. She had to borrow an outfit from someone and clean up in the bathroom. My youth leader was sitting on the other side of me and thanked me for turning my head her direction.

I think it would be a complete blessing to be in your shape when I hit 41, and hopefully I'll be blessed to be a father as well. Thanks for giving me something to look forward to!
